“Sara has consistently demonstrated charisma and passion for the work of ministry. Her work in theater, specifically as a director, has made her a natural at crafting powerful liturgical pieces. Worships, with her guidance, is always a mixture of profound and beautiful.” -Mylo Way

Special Worship Experiences include Holidays and once a year celebrations like Flower Communion and Bridging Ceremonies, are some of my favorite and the most memorable. I cherish the opportunity to create new and moving rituals to bring these experiences to life.
I have had the opportunity to co-create several ritual experiences for a variety of events. Here are a couple examples available to download as Word Documents:
As part of a ritual design class at Union Theological Seminary, my group put together A Ritual for Leaving (doc), as a goodbye to the semester, and as a cleansing for the upcoming break.
My individual project for the ritual design class was an Embodiment Ritual (doc) involving the physical sensations of eating a tangerine (a Cutie).
In my Final Worship (doc) for preaching and worship class, we created an experience of worshipping in the wilderness and building “the church” together, along with the biblical text we were given to exegete.
The order of service for my Ordination (doc) (pictured above). The theme of the service was Buttons as connectors – a metaphor for my ministry of bringing people together.
